Ninja Dark chocolate pumpkin smoothie

Canned pureed pumpkin – 2 tablespoons

Unsweetened cocoa – 2 tablespoons

1 scoop of Sun Warrior chocolate protein powder

8 ounces of organic vanilla Almond milk

1 teaspoon of Konsyl All Natural Psyllium Fiber

1/2 banana

Put all ingredients plus a few ice cubes in Ninja blender- Pulse blend 10 to 15 seconds

 This protein rich smoothie is packed full of vitamins, protein and fiber. 

Canned pumpkin contains carotenoids which are antioxidants that protect our bodies from free radicals.  Experts are referring to it as a super-food that is a high source of alpha carotene and a great source of fiber, protein, iron and zinc.
 Cocoa contains flavonoids that work as antioxidants that help prevent inflammation. It’s a good source of magnesium and contains  epicatechin  which improves blood flow and helps lower blood pressure.Image
