SIX EASY WAYS TO GET YOUR PROTEIN

Forget protein powders that can have fillers and unhealthy ingredients. Add these all natural foods to your grocery list for quick and healthy sources of protein. Check these out:

1.YOGURT  Select GREEK yogurt which has more protein than regular yogurt averaging around 15 grams per serving vs 4 grams.

2. OATMEAL– Add a scoop of greek yogurt and nuts to your oatmeal to get your protein in for a quick and easy breakfast meal

3. NUT BUTTER– Great source of protein to spread on toast, celery, or put in shakes

4.BOILED EGGS– Quick easy snack to eat alone or add to salads or sandwiches

5. BEANS  – Great source of protein and fiber. Notice navy beans have 20 grams of protein per serving.

6.COTTAGE CHEESE is a great snack or side dish to add to vegetables, casseroles or pair with fruit.

  2. I really struggle with the intake of protein. Admittedly, I have recently bought some protein powder for the first time as I can’t remember the last time I had any of the top mentioned! Oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, cottage cheese and nuts just don’t sit well with me at all…:( x

  3. Great suggestions! I love Greek yogurt, but I’ve been into Icelandic yogurt (skyr) lately. Brands like Smari and Siggi’s are high in protein and very low in sugar compared to most brands. Have you tried it?
