All Natural High Protein Snack

I ran across this recipe today and it struck my interest; last week I was thinking of experimenting with peanut butter and chickpeas. This looks delicious as a quick and easy source of protein and fiber. It’s no-bake and can be stored in the freezer. Definitely trying this weekend for an easy pre-workout snack.

  1. wow this looks awesome. what did you add the almonds for? for extra protein or crunch? bc I was thinking to substitute the nuts for protein powder. And another question, sorry… what is the honey for? extra sweetness?

  2. Hi, Yes the honey adds sweetness but also provides a good natural source of energy. Almonds are great for the nut flavor, additional protein, and are a healthy fat 🙂 But I’m sure adding protein would work fine! THanks for reading 🙂
