smoothie2Smoothies are a delicious and easy way to increase your intake of fruits and vegetables. Many fruits such as blueberries and raspberries are loaded with antioxidants, improve digestive health, and boost your immune system. Also, avocado and flax will ensure you get healthy fats in your diet that can help reduce cholesterol. It’s a great option for a meal replacement if you are on the go and don’t have time to cook. Many people use them for pre-workout or post workout meals as a quick and easy way to replenish carbohydrates and fluids.

So pull out your blender and get ready to try some delicious new smoothies. Experiment with different ingredients to find your favorite options.
